The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) said
two people were slaughtered while two others
were harmed in a mishap including two
vehicles around Animashaun Estate on Idi
Iroko street in Ogun on Saturday.
Mr Adekunle Oguntoyinbo, Sango-Ota Unit
Officer of FRSC, told the News Agency
of Nigeria (NAN) that the mishap occurred
at about 5.30 p.m.
Oguntoyinbo said that a Mack Truck with
enlistment number AAA 330 XX heading
towards Sango-Ota from Idi lroko lost control
because of brake disappointment, crossed the street
divider and smashed into a Mazda Car
stamped AAA 152 BK.
“The bodies of the unfortunate casualties had been
saved at Ifo General Hospital, while the
survivors were getting treatment at
General Hospital, Sango-Ota,” he said.
He prompted drivers to guarantee that their
vehicles were in legitimate condition and be
careful amid the Yuletide so as to
maintain a strategic distance from pointless loss of lives.
