#EndSARS: Wizkid Postpones The Release Of “Made In Lagos” Album

The Nigerian Afrobeats singer, Ibrahim Ayo Balogun popularly known as Wizkid has once again suspended the release of his album indefinitely due to the protest of the century on going.

The #EndSARS protest is based on the people’s call to the complete overhaul of the sub-body, the special antirobbery squad is known for extreme brutality and extortion of the innocent Nigerian’s youth.

The superstar took to his social media to disclose the news in reaction to an inquiry made by one of his fans if his fans should still expect the album release despite the ongoing protest in Nigeria.

This would not be the first time, the star boy would postpone his album, many fans have been expecting the release of the album for over two years now.

Meanwhile, the artist has put his weight behind the protest ongoing in the country.

On Sunday, the artist joined the protesters in London to lend his voice against the incessant killing of innocent Nigerian youths, many celebrities as well have put their weight behind the protest.
