Tiwa Savage: Four Arraigned Over Alleged Threat To Life

Four people were summoned on Tuesday under the watchful eye of a Yaba Justices’ Court in Lagos for supposedly dangers on the existence of vocalist/lyricist, Tiwa Savage.

The respondents are Eniola Adeniyi, Donatus Osabanumonu, Idorenyi Okon and Michael Rodolphe.

They were charged by the Power Criminal Examination Division, Addition, Alagbon Close, Ikoyi, Lagos, before Justice Adeola Olatunbosun on three counts of trick, expectation to swindle and danger to life.

The examiner Idowu Oshubure let the court know that the respondents purportedly dedicated the offense at the latest April 13, 2023.

The charges are contained in a document that reads, among other things, “That you, Eniola Adeniyi, Donatus Osabanumonu, Idorenyi Okon, Michael Rodolphe, and others at large on or before April 13, 2023, in Lagos State, within the jurisdiction of Lagos, in this honorable court, with intent to commit the offence, fraudulently conspired among yourselves to conduct yourselves in a manner likely to cause a breach of peace, to the

“That you fraudulently sent fraudulent messages to one Tiwa Savage through phone number 09061665942 on the aforementioned date within the same court jurisdiction, with intent to defraud, and thereby committed an offence punishable under Section 14(3) of the Cyber Crime Prohibition Act, 2015”

Be that as it may, the respondents argued not liable to the charges.

After reviewing their case file and obtaining the consent of the prosecutor, who did not object to bail, Magistrate Olatunbosun granted the suspects bail in the amount of N300,000 with one responsible surety for each in the same amount.

Olatunbosun dismissed the case to May 31, 2013, for notice.
