Afrobeat superstar, Wizkid, becomes the first Nigerian artist with a Diamond certification in the United States.

By having a Dimond certification, it means that the song has sold 10 million units in the United States. This information was released via the official Twitter page of chart data.

Recall that Ayodeji Balogun, widely known as Wizkid was recently in the news for declaring his alleged singlehood and dissing Nigerian rappers after he recently called rap “dead and boring”. This got a couple of rappers riled up.
